Program Description

Aeronautical engineering is a field of Aerospace Engineering. Some of the institutes also offer this course as a specialisation of aerospace engineering at postgraduate level. This field of engineering comprises the study of designing and building aircraft such as airplanes and helicopters.

The curriculum of B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering covers various fields such as planning, designing, structures, aerodynamics, impetus, streamlined features and frameworks of aircrafts. The four-year programme is a combination of applied physics and engineering.

10+2 with PCM / Diploma in Engineering / B.Sc. with Mathematics from Recognized University / Board Council

Direct entry to the second year of B. Tech Online & Distance Education Program (Third Semester)

Students who have successfully completed a three year polytechnic diploma course from any state technical board or equivalent after completing their 10th standard can apply for direct entry to the second year of B.Tech Online & Distance Education Program. Students who have completed 3 years of B.Sc. in any Stream having Mathematics as their major subject are also eligible to take admission directly to the third semester of B.Tech Online & Distance Education Program.
